grindaix GmbH with its current headquarters in Kerpen (Rheinl.) was selected from a total of 471 companies as one of the 100 most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. The cooling lubricant system specialists was founded out of the training ground the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University in 2005.

What began with a bold research idea for optimizing coolant nozzles in grinding machines led to a comprehensive product portfolio for increasing the efficiency of coolant-lubricant-consuming production systems, says Managing Director Dr.-Ing. Dirk Friedrich.

The latest development is an online configurable coolant monitoring system as a successful implementation of the "predictive maintenance" idea for all parts installed in the coolant system network. In addition, grindaix's new electronic systems ensure that cooling lubricant system technology is digitized in line with the industry 4.0 "smart factory" approach.

grindaix GmbH is a profitable technology company with an average growth of over 15 % per year and a healthy equity ratio > 40 %. One of the shareholders of grindaix GmbH is WZL-Aachen GmbH under the management of Sonja Hartmeyer.
