According to WZL, an average length of study does not only distinguish this year’s prizewinners Aline Kluge-Wilkes, Christoph Wilhelm Ebbecke, Patricia Helena de Oliveira Teixeira and Melanie Buchsbaum. Their academic achievements also stick out of the mass of successful graduates. In the near future, all award winners will work as scientific staff at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering.
