Abstract
The formation represents a bottleneck in the production process of battery cells and must be optimized in terms of production output and costs while maintaining or improving quality. This work focuses on the practical investigation of the interactions between temperature and mechanical stress during formation. A reduction in process time of up to 34.00% was achieved and the discharge capacity was increased by an average of 18.00%.
