The goal of the project is the development of a framework for the cross-plant identification of cost-optimal maintenance scenarios in manufacturing companies.
In addition to indicators for reliability, availability and maintainability of wear-prone machine components - such as bearings, guides, ball screws - the operator's requirements - corrective, preventive, predictive maintenance - are linked component specifically via a central database with the planned machine allocation from the ERP system.
Milestones include the development of a model- and signal-based forecasting methodology for estimating the remaining service life of components subject to wear, the implementation of algorithms to minimize total life cycle costs, and the introduction of a cloud-based service platform for exchanging condition-relevant information.
