Further Information

The students are familiar with the influencing factors relevant to design with regard to costs, manufacturability and the machine technology used. They are able to assess and evaluate component design and design tasks with regard to costs, sensible manufacturing processes and the machine technology used. In addition, the students understand the fundamental correlations between costs, manufacturing accuracy and processes and can transfer this knowledge to concrete applications.
