Basic Seminar Factory Planning
Monday, June 29, 2020, 9am to 5:30pm
Factory planning is no longer a task that companies only deal with once every 30 years. In the turbulent environment of companies, factory planning is facing more and more diverse challenges. In addition to planning new factories on greenfield sites, the focus is on adapting and optimizing factory structures that have grown over a long period of time. The Aachen factory planning procedure represents a holistic approach to support the planner in efficient and target-oriented planning.
During the seminar, basic methods and best practices are taught on the following topics:
Target management and product process analysis
Location and plant structure planning
Process and capacity planning
Finally, the application of the methods in an industrial context will be demonstrated using a project example. By combining established approaches and current trends from research, the basis for the implementation of own factory planning projects is laid.
