In this project, an approach was developed to increase the process capability of the production tool "robot" in machining processes (e.g. high-speed cutting, laser cutting, and additive manufacturing processes) across all applications. Here, the machining task and, consequently, the production program or the production paths of the robot are of decisive importance. In addition, process forces can occur that displace the end effector of the robot. Simulation and compensation of the various process influences are therefore necessary in order to ensure stable machining by optimizing the process parameters during production planning.
