Tooling Technology

The Working Group Tooling Technology - AKWT - is an association of currently 15 companies which cooperate on a pre-competitive basis for the joint solution of technological tasks in the field of tooling technology.

This cooperation has proved its worth since the working group was founded in 2008. The idea is to consider all steps of the process chain for the production of tools for defined machining, which are strongly interlocked and influence each other. The members are active in this field of research, whereby the focus is always on practical relevance, primarily for the automotive and aerospace industries.
