Grinding Technology
The Working Group Grinding Technology (AKS) is an association of manufacturing companies that cooperate with the WZL to jointly solve technological, economic, and strategic issues related to grinding technology.
Currently, the working group, founded in 2003, comprises 27 member companies. Among them are manufacturers of grain materials, grinding tools, cooling lubricants, and grinding machines as well as users, for example from tool making, the automotive and aerospace industries, or drive technology. The grinding technology processing of innovative high-performance materials, the further development of grinding tools and machine concepts as well as digitalization in the context of Industry 4.0 are, among other things, the focus of the pre-competitive cooperation between industry and research in the Working Group Grinding Technology
