Global Production Community

 

The Global Production Community - GPC - is a Working Group of several medium-sized to large companies from various industries that deals with all topics related to "Global Production". As a follow-up format of the consortium benchmark "Design of Global Production Networks", the community very successfully promotes the structured exchange of experience and knowledge between companies in the field of global network design.

Each year, several working meetings are held on various topics such as network building, network strategy or network coordination. In these, various lecture and workshop concepts promote a targeted exchange of knowledge in the form of best practices, experiences and new concepts. In the coming year, it is planned to transfer the community to the "Global Production Excellence" center in order to continue the exchange.
