Study abroad:
In the case of a study-related stay abroad, it is generally possible to have examinations taken there recognized. For this purpose, the subjects must be approved by the course supervisor and the faculty prior to the stay abroad.
If compulsory subjects are to be replaced, this must also be approved by the professor in Aachen who is reading the course.
Internship:
The new guidelines generally allow a free choice of activities. In particular, there is the possibility of carrying out a project internship specific to the in-depth course after consultation with the internship office.
After recognition of the entire internship, a presentation must be given to a professor of the FB4 in order to obtain the overall certificate.
The current internship guidelines can be found on the website of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
