The course provides a comprehensive insight into the current topics & methods of modern quality management. By participating in the multi-day seminar, students gain practical insights into methods and tools of quality management. The lecture series starts with the targeted identification of market and customer requirements and continues with selected tools for an improved understanding of products and processes to cross-lifecycle sustainability management. Quality-related data analyses using machine learning algorithms are performed and products are examined with regard to their component costs. Supported by guest lectures from McKinsey, Viega and ONIQ, different problems are solved and the lectured theoretical approaches are deepened.
The seminar character of the course and the limited number of participants offer the students an ideal platform for topic-related exchange with the lecturing scientific staff of the chair. The examination will take the form of a short presentation and the answering of questions.
