First Expert Forum Global Production - Leading, designing and controlling excellent Production Networks
How can production networks be excellently managed, designed and controlled in a dynamic environment?
The Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering WZL of the RWTH Aachen University is organizing a first expert forum on Global Production on September 13, 2016 in Frankfurt/Main under this question in cooperation with the Institute of Production Science at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the Institute of Technology Management (ITEM) of the University of St. Gallen.
Under the direction of Prof. Lanza (KIT), Prof. Friedli (HSG) and Prof. Schuh (RWTH Aachen), the participants will receive an intensive insight into current research questions on the topics of strategic management, the ideal design and optimization of global production networks and operational control in the network through impulse lectures and discussions. Practice-oriented lectures will complement the event and deepen the insight with best-practice examples and the teaching of relevant methods.
The event is intended for specialists and executives who want to learn and exchange information about the strategic management, design and operational control of globally distributed production networks.
Interested participants are cordially invited to use the expert forum as an exchange of experience and knowledge to critically examine their global production network and to inform themselves about current trends in the global production environment.
All further information on participation can be found on the website of the First Expert Forum on Global Production.
