Basic Seminar Electro Discharge Machining (EDM)
This seminar enables the extensive training for users of EDM, machine operators, masters as well as workshop manager and department heads in the areas of production planning, production, service and distribution. Basic knowledge of process variants, tools, dielectrics, sensors and measuring equipment are imparted to the participants, to understand and solve problems of eroding as well as its causes in daily routine better. The learned basic knowledge can optionally be engrossed on practical demonstration at machines and tools of the WZL.
The seminar will be adapted individually to your needs. It can be performed at the WZL (incl. practical part), but also as training at your site.
The next seminar takes place on 23rd and 24th of September 2015.
The seminar language is German.

Expert conference Electro Discharge Machining
The expert conference electro discharge machining in Aachen is an event which is operated regularly since 1988 to overview the latest state of research and development as well as the industrial implementation of this technology. Relevant progresses in technical and economic terms are presented by speakers of well-known machine- and equipment manufacturers as well as renowned users. National and international research projects of chosen research institutes are presented. Furthermore to seminars of machine manufacturers this conference gives a comprehensive overview of the industry for many years and enables its participants to get an objective overview of the current possibilities and boundaries of EDM technology through the presentations and its following discussions. The conference language is German.
The next expert conference takes place November 29th and 30th 2017.
